We believe water baptism is an important step of obedience in every person's spiritual life. Baptism symbolizes burying the old person who is plagued by sin and shame and rising up from the water having been MADE NEW. After you have surrendered your life to follow Jesus, the Bible tells us to be baptized in water – just like Jesus Himself did – as a public declaration that you believe that Jesus is your LORD and SAVIOR and you have DECIDED to turn from a life of sin and live your life for Him.
